Special Group of Disney World Cast Members Were First to Receive 50th Anniversary Name Tags

Everything is turning EARidescent in Disney World for the 50th Anniversary Celebrations!

We’ve seen a new Skyliner design, a huge “50th Anniversary” sign on the Cinderella Castle, banners in a few different parks, and even a 50th Anniversary-themed bus. We’re about to see even more EARidescence, though! Here’s a peek at what’s coming.

We already showed you the new designs for Cast Member name tags for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

These name tags have a shiny border with pastel and gold colors, plus a little 50th Anniversary logo on the top! We just heard from @JeffVahle on Instagram that Disney has already started passing these out, and can you guess who were the first people to receive their new tags?

The first Cast Members to get their shiny new tags were the ones who have been there for all 50 years! We can’t imagine how special that moment was for the Cast Members who have been with Disney World since the beginning.
