Why would you spend all day watching videos of cute animals on Tik Tok when you can just head on over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and see them in person?!
Just a couple of weeks ago there was a new addition to the gorilla family at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and today baby girl got a name!
Instead of just telling you what the name is, we will let you see for yourself. Disney actually coordinated a way for the name reveal to be done by the gorilla family — take a look!
Welcome baby Ada (Ah-duh)! The name Ada is derived from the Igbo people who live in Nigeria. The name is translated to mean “first daughter”. Ada is the first daughter to Azizi and she has two bigger brothers!
In typical Disney fashion, they made this name reveal special. The animal care team decided to let her family make the announcement. Utilizing rice cereal, they wrote the name on a rock and covered it with paper. They did this to stimulate the gorilla’s problem-solving skills causing them to unwrap the name revealing it to everyone!
