Halloween season is officially underway at Walt Disney World, and today we’re checking all the offerings out!
Yesterday, Disney shared the full list of snacks that are available throughout the fall and Halloween season, and they gave us all the important details, like where to find them and during what time frame. When the list dropped, just two treats were listed as exclusive to the Disney After Hours BOO Bash — the Apple Ginger Dale and the Foolish Mortal Funnel Cake.
Typically Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (the Halloween event we’ve seen in years past) is full of party-exclusive treats and goodies, so just TWO treats exclusive to the event seemed unusual!
But, we didn’t question it too much. This morning, we headed into Magic Kingdom to try the other four snacks that were supposed to be offered during the daytime. However, we ran into some problems when we tried to order the first one, the Maleficent Churro — we were told it was only available at the BOO Bash!
Considering Disney promoted it as being available all day long, this was unexpected. After moving on to find the Prince John Sucker at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies (which was also advertised as being available all day long), we were met with the same issue. It happened again at Storybook Treats, where we were told the Five Dozen Eggs Slush was also a BOO Bash-exclusive.
So what’s going on here? Did Disney just mislabel all the treats that they shared in the Disney Parks Blog post yesterday? The webpage for BOO Bash still only mentions the two treats that were on the exclusive list.
There’s always the chance that these snacks could become available later today, so we’ll make sure to keep checking. Otherwise, we may just have to wait and see when we show up to the BOO Bash this evening!
