Even though it’s only July, we’re ready to celebrate the holiday season at Disney World!
The Halloween festivities kick off next month in Magic Kingdom, and this morning we got more details on what’s coming to the parks for the holiday season. But one beloved celebration may be missing from EPCOT!
Every year, EPCOT hosts the International Festival of the Holidays. This year’s festival will run from November 26th through December 30th. The event will include “Holiday Kitchens around the park, performances by Voices of Liberty, the guest favorite Cookie Stroll, and more!” However, one big thing is missing from the announcements — the Candlelight Processional.
The fan-favorite holiday show features a celebrity narrator telling the story of Christmas at the America Gardens Theatre, surrounded by a choir of Disney Cast Members. It has been a staple of the festival for many years, but last year was canceled for health and safety reasons. It looks like we may be missing out again this year!
There’s always the chance that Disney could announce its return later, so we’ll be on the lookout for more news. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
