It’s good to be bad when talking about Disney’s Descendants! We have seen a trilogy of “Descendants” movies and a spinoff animated series on The Disney Channel.
Earlier this year we saw the announcement of “Descendants: The Royal Wedding” but now Disney has made us rotten to the core and given us a trailer for the new animated feature!
“Descendants: The Royal Wedding” was written by Sara Parriot , Josann McGibbon, and Ricky Roxburgh, and will feature the original cast from the live-action trilogy. The special will take viewers into Auradon’s Royal Wedding as Mal and Ben look to finally say “I Do”. The event seems to take a turn when Mal’s father, Hades, shows up and most definitely tries to shake things up. Take a look at the new trailer here!
One notable absence is for the character of Carlos, who was played by the late Cameron Boyce. Disney has confirmed that the absence of this character will be acknowledged in the storyline and that there will be a special segment that is honoring Boyce during the telecast.
If you want to catch “Descendants: The Royal Wedding” be sure to tune-in to the Disney Channel on August 13th immediately following the 8 PM showing of the new Disney Channel Movie SPIN.
