Disney’s prolonged success as a brand is not just luck! From signature characters like Mickey and the Disney Princesses to their acquisitions of companies like Pixar, Marvel, 20th Century Fox, and more, Disney has one of the most recognizable and iconic brands.

In honor of their prolonged success, especially during such a challenging year, Disney was recently recognized as the top global brand.

License Global, a platform that covers branding, advertising, and licensing, recently ranks the top global licensors based on sales, profit, and overall success, citing the success of Disney’s streaming service Disney+ as a driving force.

Along with the success of Disney+, License Global also noted that toy partnerships for The Mandalorian, Marvel video games like the highly successful and critically acclaimed Spider-Man: Miles Morales game, and numerous successful sales campaigns were primary factors in the top position of Disney.

Disney is poised to continue this success through the rest of 2021, with events like Shanghai Disneyland’s Year of Magical Surprises, Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, and a long slate of upcoming movie releases all continuing to boost Disney’s success.
