‘Loki’ Hits #1 Globally Faster Than Other Marvel Releases on Disney+

Since it premiered on Disney+ earlier this month, Loki has quickly gained a huge following.

In fact, the premiere of the first episode shattered Marvel Disney+ records, with first-day viewership reaching almost 900,000 households. And since the first episode, the show has continued to pull in big numbers.

According to Forbes, Loki is seeing a faster rise in popularity than other major Marvel Disney+ releases The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision.

The data analyzed looked at a metric known as “demand expression,” which involves how popular a series is compared to a baseline. According to the results, Loki has risen to become the #1 show in the world faster than the other Marvel series.

Loki reached the number one spot after just seven days. By comparison, it took The Falcon and the Winter Soldier eight days and WandaVision 14 days.

The research also revealed that Loki had 89.9x more demand than the average TV series globally. The show also currently has a high score on both IMDB (9.1) and Rotten Tomatoes (96%), which further shows how popular the new series is with viewers.
