  1. I just watched Luca, and it kept my avid interest throughout the entire film. At first I thought it would be going down the Little Memaid path. Never underestimate Disney Pixar writers. This film is a fresh, amusing and touching journey. Kids will love the suspense of the main characters continual metamorphosis. All viewers will be caught up in the story of a few misfits working towards a common goal. Setting of Italy is interesting, and I learned a few Italian phrases! The villain is hilarious. Little girl is a spunky type, reminded me a little of Ellie in Up. And yes, I teared up at the end. Disney got me again
