NEWS: Disney World Announces Virtual Healthcare in Partnership With AdventHealth

There are more health care options coming to Disney World soon!

Disney has long had a partnership with AdventHealth, which is a major health care company in the Orlando area. And, you might recognize AdventHealth if you’ve ever participated in a runDisney event or gone to the parks recently, as they have been at Disney World administering temperature checkpoints since the parks reopened. But, now their partnership is expanding even more!

Today, Disney announced that AdventHealth is now the official health care provider and virtual health care provider for Walt Disney World.

With the renewed partnership, AdventHealth will be introducing a new program called World of Wellness, which offers Disney World guests access to Vacation Planning resources, a Care Concierge Call Center, and more all at their fingertips. Plus, AdventHealth will begin offering medical equipment and prescription delivery straight to Disney World resort hotels.

AdventHealth also announced that they will be building a brand new emergency room in the new Flamingo Crossings Town Center. This will be a new medical location close to Disney World Resort for Guests, Cast Members, and community members to receive both virtual and in-person care 7 days a week.

In addition to the new offerings in and around Disney World, AdventHealth will also continue to serve as the health care provider for runDisney events and at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
