Along with the other situations that may get you kicked out, Disney has warned that guests not wearing their face masks properly will be removed from the parks.

Orlando Sentinel has reported that 51-year-old Kelly McKin from Palm Beach has been charged with the felony of “battery on a security officer” after spitting at a Disney World security guard. The situation occurred when the man spit at the security guard after being asked to put his mask on at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

The security guard was able to point out who McKin was when asked by police. She detailed that the man walked into the Contemporary’s convention center when it was closed. The guard asked if he needed directions, but McKin said he was a guest. She asked him to put on his mask, but he promised he would do so in the next building.

Since Disney World requires face masks all around the property, the security guard reminded him of these regulations. However, according to the report, things got confrontational when McKin told her to leave him alone, took a step towards her, and then spit on her.

McKin was later arrested on Disney property. Disney spokeswoman Andrea Finger commented on the situation, noting that “Millions of guests visit our theme parks each year, and in rare instances when things of this nature occur, we hold them accountable.”
