The 5 Best Things We Ate This Week in Disney World

It’s no secret that we like to carve out a good portion of the time that we spend in the parks eating and drinking our way through Disney menus.

Main Street U.S.A.

And, this week was no different! We got to try some new boozy drinks, specialty menu items that are already starting to arrive for Saint Patrick’s Day, and even some of our old favorites. We’re talking about all our favorite eats and drinks from the week!

Here are the 5 best things we tried this week!

Spiked Peach Tea

First up is the Irish Whiskey Tea from Joffrey’s Handcrafted SmoothiesYou can find this little kiosk across from World of Disney next to the Waterside Stage and it serves up all kinds of coffees and teas daily. The Irish Whiskey Tea is a combo of Joffrey’s peach iced tea and Irish whiskey.

Spiked Peach Tea

It might look like just your average iced tea but it is packed with some sweet and tart flavors from the peach! On a boozier note, we didn’t find the drink all that strong, but you can add an extra shot for $2 if you’re looking for something with a kick! You can give it a try for $11.99 or $13.99 if you’re adding a shot!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion Shake

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we found a new milkshake at Hollywood Scoops! It’s a Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion Shake and, oh man, it was good. Not only is it a GIANT dessert, but this sucker is also topped with a Brownie Cup and crushed Butterfingers!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Explosion Shake

This takes shakes and brings it to the next level! It’s creamy, it’s smooth, and filled with chocolate! But the real star of this treat? That Brownie Cup obviously! If you’re not a fan of an overpowering peanut butter flavor but are still looking for a yummy treat, you can grab this milkshake for $8.49.

Sweet & Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich

With all the new things we were trying this week, we had to go back to a few of our old favorites! We can’t just abandon them, you know? So, we stopped by Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Magic Kingdom to get a Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich.

This sammy has been on and off the menu for over 8 years so we always like to stop by when it is actually there! It is a chicken and slaw in a giant Belgian waffle and it’s currently available for $10.49

Lemon Dole Whip

And, we got another one of our favorites again just for fun (and because we could always use more Dole Whip). If you haven’t been keeping up with this sweet treat at Disney World, you might still think that Pineapple is the only flavor.

Well, there are actually TONS of different Dole Whip Flavors — you just have to know where to look for them! We stopped by Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to give one of our favorites a try!

Lemon Dole Whip

Lemon Dole Whip! This ‘lil cup of frozen delight is always refreshing and makes it feel like we really did our Disney day right. They also serve up lime, pineapple, and vanilla Dole Whip here so you can have a whole sampling or go crazy and try a swirl! Cups cost $4.99.

Sand Pail

We were back at Blizzard Beach this week as it made its grand reopening so we had to give all the new and old treats a try! One of the treats we were excited, yet kind of nervous to get was the Sand Pail from I.C. Expeditions. But, we don’t shy away from adventurous foods (we’ve tried grasshoppers after all) so we ordered this bucket of ice cream!

Sand Pail

The GIANT sundae is made with Chocolate and Vanilla Soft-serve Ice Cream, Waffle Pieces, Sprinkles, Cookie Pieces, Hot Fudge, Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry. There’s a lot to unpack here! We definitely recommend giving this guy a try if you’re craving dessert on your visit! The warm stuff combines with the cold stuff and there are so many different textures that make this oh so good.

Oh, and it comes with a SHOVEL so that’s how you know it’s serious. The sundae is certainly enough to share and costs $13.99.
