Alright, all you fellow Disney fans, we’ve got some BIG news for you!
If you weren’t able to snag a ticket for Disney California Adventure’s limited-ticket event A Touch of Disney, you may still be able to visit a Disneyland park this spring!
California Governor Newman recently announced that the guidelines that mandate when large theme parks can reopen in the state will be changing as he refreshes the “Blueprint.” This means that Disneyland could reopen as soon as April 1st, 2021. And, while we don’t have an opening date yet, the President of Disneyland Resort, Ken Potrock, has already released a statement.
Potrock states that they are “encouraged that theme parks now have a path toward reopening this spring,” and touches on the idea that we may see health and safety measures implemented in other Disney parks brought to the California parks. He says, “With responsible Disney safety protocols already implemented around the world, we can’t wait to welcome our guests back.”
We’ll be keeping a close eye on updates as Disneyland Resort moves toward an opening date so stay tuned!
