Yesterday, we shared some photos of the waterways around EPCOT being drained. While we weren’t exactly sure of the reasons why this was happening, Cast Members we spoke with said it could have had something to do with the floral features coming in anticipation of the Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival.

Well, it seems like the draining didn’t need to take all that much time, since today the waterways are already being refilled!
We checked on the waterways today while visiting EPCOT and noticed that the water levels around Future World were indeed rising from where they were yesterday.

The water is still not at its full level yet, but we could expect it to be back to normal very soon!

The exact reason for the work on the waterways is still not clear, as we haven’t noticed any other signs of work being done around these areas.

We’ll keep checking on the waterways around Future World, and we will keep you up to date with all the latest Disney World construction news!
