Star Wars is about to get a completely new look as various shows and movies that are about to change the GAME!

Disney+ and theaters will be debuting entertainment like The Bad Batch, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka, The Book of Boba Fett, and more. But, even though there is a ton of new content coming soon, it’s also time to celebrate one of our favorite Star Wars films!

We can’t believe it’s been 5 years since The Force Awakens, but here we are! In honor of the film’s anniversary, we decided to play a game of “This or That: Star Wars Edition” on our Instagram. And, honestly, we were a bit surprised at some of the choices you guys made in the polls on our stories!

We asked some tough questions about your favorite characters, putting your favorites to the test with discussions about the Skywalkers (with Leia winning with a 20% lead)…

…famous Star Wars droids with R2-D2 pulling ahead of C-3PO…

…dynamic duos, where Chewbacca claimed victory against Han Solo…

…and the greatest villains in the galaxy as Darth Vader reigned supreme!

But, the fun didn’t stop there! We also wanted to know who you thought was the cutest thing in the galaxy with BB-8 narrowly willing over the Ewoks (even though we both think they’re adorable).

Perhaps the TOUGHEST choice for us was who the better gentleman of the newest Star Wars trilogy happened to be. Although our heart is with Poe Dameron (and yours is too), we still love Finn a WHOLE lot!

Even with the upcoming Obi-Wan inspired series, we all can’t help but want to train under Yoda (learn from Jedi Master we must)…

…while many fans also felt partial to another original character by choosing Leia over Rey!

Here’s where things started to get a bit tricky, though! When we asked about one of the most controversial moments in The Rise of Skywalker, you all were SUPER split on the Rey-lo pairing. There was only a 2 vote difference (!!!) that favored Rey-lo not being a thing.

And, things continued to heat up when we asked your feelings about the original films and the sequels! Since you all felt it was important to include the prequels in the mix…

…we asked your opinions on all three series! The original films (episodes 4 through 6) won with 4,374 votes with the prequels (episodes 1 through 3) surprisingly following up in second with 1,137 votes. However, the sequel series (episodes 7 through 9) dropped to last place with only 782 votes. And, we’re SHOOK by your answers!!

As we celebrate the start of the sequel series today by watching plenty of Star Wars movies, we’ll be sure to also give you a look at the rest of Disney’s entertainment news too!
