We learned earlier this year that the Morocco Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase would be transitioning from ownership by the Moroccan Embassy to being fully operated by Disney.
This pavilion includes a handful of merchandise locations, as well as three dining locations — Spice Road Table, Tangierine Café, and Restaurant Marrakesh, most of which are temporarily unavailable. Certain locations in the pavilion have begun to reopen, including one of the shops, Souk-al-Magreb. Excitingly, Spice Road Table is now open!
This restaurant had closed and stopped accepting advance dining reservations past December 10th. We had also noticed that Spice Road Table’s menu had switched from its full selection of appetizers and entrees to a limited Lounge Menu. As of today, Spice Road Table is welcoming guests!
This new menu features Mediterranean Small Plates, like Tiropitakia, featuring cheese-filled phyllo with a fresh relish!
The menu also includes a Spiced Chicken served with mint yogurt.
For anyone with a sweet tooth, the Dessert Platter includes Moroccan pastries.
We’re so excited to see some of the spots in the Morocco Pavilion begin opening up! We’ll be sure to let you know what’s different now that the pavilion’s operations have been switched over to Disney!
Check out a reopened Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom!
