We’ve been keeping a close watch on Disney World park hours to make sure you have the most up-to-date information when planning your upcoming vacation! Over the last few months, Disney has had a tendency to extend hours at their theme parks as certain dates approach, and the month of December is looking to be no different.

We previously reported that select weekend hours through the month of December received extensions, but now it’s looking like those additional hours are being seen across all four parks and for more days throughout the month.
Previously, Magic Kingdom was opening at 9AM each morning, and now it appears that it will instead be opening at 8AM daily. Currently, Magic Kingdom’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day hours are 8AM-10PM, and its New Year’s Eve hours are currently 8AM-11PM. Originally, Magic Kingdom was only open until 7PM on New Year’s Eve.

Over at EPCOT, the park currently has posted hours for most of December as 12PM to 9PM Monday through Thursday, and 11AM-10PM Friday through Sunday. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day park hours are currently 10AM-9PM, and EPCOT’s New Year’s Eve hours are currently 10AM-10PM. Previously, EPCOT was scheduled to be open until 8PM on New Year’s Eve.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be starting its days a little earlier as well. Starting on December 6th, the park will be open from 9AM-7PM. Then, starting on December 20th, the park will extend its evening hours and be open from 9AM-8PM. Hollywood Studios’ Christmas Eve and Christmas Day park hours are currently posted at 9AM-8PM, and the park’s New Year’s Eve hours are currently 9AM-9PM.

Finally, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, starting on December 4th park hours are currently posted as 8AM-5PM Monday through Thursday, and 8AM-8PM Friday through Sunday. The week of Christmas and New Year’s is for all you early morning risers out there: December 20th through December 31st, Animal Kingdom will open at 7AM daily. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the park will close at 7PM, and on New Year’s Eve the park will close at 8PM.

We’ll continue to keep a close watch on these park hours, and will let you know if we notice any additional changes or extensions!
