Whether you’re craving a gooey grilled cheese sammie or a GIANT sundae to dig into, Beaches and Cream is the place to go when you want to treat yo’self.

After the soda shop closed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort last year for refurbishment, it re-opened with an expanded dining area and new decor that make the atmosphere even better! While we were stopping by to get some grilled cheese and soup (our favorite), we noticed that there was something else new over at Beaches and Cream!
Previously, Cast Members wore this sweet little get-up as their costume at the restaurant. The blue and white ruffles and rainbow pinstripes have become an iconic part of Beaches and Cream, along with the Kitchen Sink Sundaes and diner ambience.

However, we noticed that the Cast Members had a HUGE outfit changes when we were over at Beaches and Cream today! The pinstripes are still there, but they’ve been changed to light blue and white instead of rainbow. The ruffles have disappeared for a button down blouse, khaki-gray shorts, and blue bow tie.

Cast Members are allowed to wear a grey newsies hat to go with the new outfit. Our sweet Cast Member pal Dina looked dynamite in her newsies cap as she struck a pose for us!

While we will miss the rainbow stripes, we are excited to see the Cast Members sporting a new look at Beaches and Cream too! As we continue taking a look at everything happening around the parks and resorts, we’ll keep you up-to-date on all the other new and exciting things we find.
Take a look at the adorable The Nightmare Before Christmas treats we found at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
