There is a lot to look forward to on Disney+ over the coming months! From the second season of The Mandalorian in October, to the premiere of WandaVision in December, 2020 still has plenty of excitement left on the streaming service.
In November, we will see the premiere of Marvel 616, an anthology documentary series that will cover a wide range of topics in the Marvel Universe such as artists across the world, women of Marvel Comics, the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, and more.
Ahead of the series’ debut, Disney has released a first look trailer at the exciting new docuseries!
The show will explore all aspects of Marvel, from its characters, to the creators and storytellers that bring them to life. You can check out the first trailer below!
Marvel’s rich legacy of pioneering characters, creators and storytelling to reflect the world outside your window. Each documentary, helmed by a unique filmmaker, showcases the intersections of storytelling, pop culture, and fandom within the Marvel Universe. Episodes in this anthology series will cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the “forgotten” characters of Marvel, and much more.
Each episode will be directed by a different person and will cover a different story. The titles of each episode and their directors are:

- “Higher Further Faster” Directed by Gillian Jacobs
- “Amazing Artisans” Directed by Clay Jeter
- “Lost and Found” Directed by Paul Scheer
- “Suit Up!” Directed by Andrew Rossi

- “The Marvel Method” Directed by Brian Oakes
- “Marvel Spotlight” Directed by Alison Brie
