CONSTRUCTION UPDATE! Check Out the Latest Progress for the Grand Floridian Walkway to Magic Kingdom!

While construction has started up all around the parks with progress on EPCOT’s France Pavilion and Magic Kingdom’s TRON Coaster, we’ve been highly anticipating the Grand Floridian Walkway to Magic Kingdom!

When the bridge is completed, it will connect the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

The Grand Floridian Walkway practically looks ready to for guests to use soon! While people staying at the Grand Floridian will have easy access to the bridge, guests visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort can also use the walkway since the hotels are connected by their own path.

We spotted an entrance covering near the bridge that could potentially be a temperature check area in the making for guests heading to the Magic Kingdom or back to the resorts.

Although Disney hasn’t officially announced the Grand Floridian Walkway (or it’s opening date), we’ll have to keep checking back to see when the bridge opens for everyone to use soon!

Find out which of our FAVORITE Disney pools will be reopening soon at the resorts!

  1. So exciting for this to open. I always go to Kona for breakfast on my trips and then to MK. It will be nice to walk instead of doing the monorail.
