Last week, it was announced that Ample Hills Creamery at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn would be permanently closing, with construction also halting on the planned new location for Disney Springs.

While Disney has not yet announced what will be replacing the former home of Ample Hills, the spot was definitely looking different on a recent trip to Disney’s BoardWalk!
The sign for Ample Hills has been removed from the location, which never reopened post-closure.

You can see that the sign has been completely removed with the location’s name, with only a lone ice cream cone painting remaining behind.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on any further developments, including when we learn what will be replacing this former location!

Food options right now at the Boardwalk are scarce. Boardwalk bakery is ok once per trip, but the area needs more. Especially true since the shack on the boardwalk is closed right now.
I liked it, but it was expensive compared to Beaches and Cream. A shame that after losing its TS breakfast place to a character meal that BWI is losing its ice cream place. I would love to seem either a true QS with tables and hot food go in there or another ice cream shop.
