The Disney parks are closed, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy some Disney magic.

Tokyo Disneyland is posting videos of live shows and performances during the closure, including “It’s Very Minnie”, “Pixar Playtime Pals”, and “Fantasmic!”. The shows will be available on YouTube starting March 19th, but will only be around through the end of April!
The shows and their release dates are as follows. Note that these shows are performed partially or entirely in Japanese.
It’s Very Minnie!
Part of the limited run “Very Very Minnie” celebration, “It’s Very Minnie” is a musical revue starring Disney’s original leading lady!

While the event was meant to run through March 19th, the Coronavirus outbreak led to it being cut short. Luckily, you’ll be able to catch it online from March 19th!
Pixar Playtime Pals
Pixar Playtime Pals is an interactive show where guests can cheer on their favorite Pixar characters! While the interactive component is lost on video, it’s still a charming and energetic show kids are sure to love!

Expect appearances from the cast of Toy Story, Cars, The Incredibles, Brave, and more! This performance will also be available on March 19th.
Fantasmic!
Even if you’ve already seen the Disneyland and Hollywood Studios versions of Fantasmic!, it’s worth watching the Tokyo Disneysea version, which features unique songs and scenes not seen anywhere else.

The show will be available from March 25th for streaming.
Lilo’s Luau and Fun
Lilo & Stitch is huge in Japan, with the naughty alien experiment playing a major role in their version of the Enchanted Tiki Room. There was even a sequel to Lilo & Stitch: The Series released in Japan, following the continuing adventures of Stitch and another young girl after Lilo grows up and goes to college.

Lilo’s Luau and Fun is performed at the Polynesian Terrace Restaurant, and features Lilo, Stitch, and other Disney characters dancing to “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” and other hits! The show will be available starting on March 31st.
We hope these shows can tide you over for a bit as we wait for the parks to reopen.
