Everyone knows that a year is 365 days, but every four years we get an extra day called Leap Day. This year just happens to be one of them, as we get our extra day in February!
To celebrate that rare February 29th, Disney is offering up some exclusive deals and specials!
Disney will be celebrating Leap Day by offering advanced screenings of their upcoming film Onward on February 29th! While the movie isn’t going to hit nationwide theaters until March 6th, select theaters will be hosting an early screening. You can check your local theater for tickets here!
Next up, Disney has a special gift if you’ll be taking in one of their Broadway shows! If you buy a ticket for select performances of The Lion King on Broadway, you can get a free water bottle when you buy merchandise after the show!
If you prefer your shows to be on ice instead of on stage, then you may want to take advantage of the Leap Day sale on tickets for Disney on Ice. Using the promo code LEAP29, you can get two tickets to Disney on Ice for only $29 (get it, cause it’s the 29th!). To get tickets to Disney on Ice click here.
Not only are there some great shows to see outside of the parks, in Disneyland the new Magic Happens Parade and the California Adventure Food & Wine Festival both start tomorrow, February 28th. What better way to celebrate the extra day than with a new parade and some great food!
If you aren’t on the West Coast, but still need a dose of Disney magic there is a limited time extra percentage off on already on-sale items on ShopDisney and in Disney Stores. The sale is up to 40% off on all kinds of items, including clothing, accessories, home goods, and toys.
Finally, you can also get free shipping from Disney Music Emporium! You can take advantage of the special between now and February 29th. Check out all they have to offer here, including the Star Wars John Williams 40th Anniversary Box Set!
If any of these strike your fancy, make sure to take advantage of them before they leap away.
How will you be spending your Leap Day this year? Let us know in the comments.
