Disney Has Assembled Their Very Own Superhero Team for the Upcoming Avengers Campus!

Avengers Campus is set to open this summer at Disney California Adventure, and every detail that has come out of the upcoming land has us more excited than the last. From thrilling rides, to the possibility of a real life swinging Spider-Man, we cannot wait for this larger than life land to open.

And now, we have a little more information coming out of the future Avengers Campus. Disney has been hiring to put together a team to help open the land — and they’re looking for some real-life superheroes.

According to the OC Register, in preparation for the land’s opening, Disney is putting together a 35-person “test-and-adjust” team, who will work hand-in-hand with Imagineers to prep the attractions for opening day, as well as training Cast Members.

While that all sounds pretty run-of-the-mill, the hiring process Disney has been using has been pretty extraordinary! Candidates who made it to the interview stage of the process were brought into a “briefing room” and assigned code names, and were asked to only address each other by code names.

Additionally, interviewees were asked to dream up their ideal superhero identity, and were also tested on some Marvel trivia!

For potential candidates who have dreamed of living the superhero life, the hiring process for Avengers Campus sounds like a dream come true! Leave it to Disney to make something as ordinary as a job interview become something extraordinary.
