This Man Has Plans to Run All the Way from Disneyland to Disney World!

Visiting both the Most Magical AND the Happiest Place on Earth? Sounds like the dream! But, what if instead of taking a plane, or even a car, you were running that distance.

Well, for one man, that is exactly the plan!

According to the OC Register, Don Muchow will be completing his Run Across America by taking a route from Disneyland to Disney World! Muchow, who has Type-1 Diabetes, has plans to start his run February 1st in Newport Beach, with a first stop in Anaheim right between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

If all goes according to plan, the 2,830-mile trek will take him to Disney World 94 days later, and finishing four days after that, on May 8th, in Melbourne, FL. If he keeps those dates as planned, that would make this the fastest run of its distance ever completed by a Type-1 diabetic!

So, what is Muchow’s plan when he arrives in Disney World? According to him, he’s looking forward to a “massage at the Grand Floridian”, and a trip on it’s a small world! Good luck to Don Muchow on his incredible journey!
