That’s right, the 2014 ABC series The Quest is getting revived with a new story, younger contestants, and the full force of Disney’s creative team behind it. Let’s take a look at this, plus the other nonfiction series that will be coming soon to Disney+!

First released in 2014, The Quest transported a group of heroes, or Paladins, to the world of Everealm (aka, a real castle in Vienna) to fight the evil Verlox. Now Everealm calls for aid once more… but this time with a group of teenage contestants in a world brought to life with technology, practical effects, and more. Which Paladin will triumph over the new threat to Everealm and prove themselves the ultimate hero?

Also on the streaming service, teams of adults and teens will face down The Maze, an adventure competition in the vein of The Amazing Race with a brain teasing twist. Animal lovers will enjoy Meet the Chimps, a National Geographic series that takes viewers into Chimp Haven: a 200-acre refuge in the heart of Louisiana that is home to 300 chimpanzees.

And, finally, there’s the as-of-yet untitled series from Supper Club, which will reveal the creativity and artistry behind Pixar’s Sparkshorts series! Walt Disney Animation’s companion to this series, Short Circuit, already features interviews with the animators and a behind the scenes look at production, but this new series promises to go even more in depth.
