Can you believe we’re less than a month away from the end of 2019 (which is also the end of the decade *SHOCKED FACE EMOJI*)??
But with a new year, comes all new Disney movies! From Marvel to Pixar, there are tons of reasons to be excited to head to the movie theater next year.
Let’s take a look at the Disney Universe Films we’re jazzed for in 2020!
Onward
Pixar is bringing us an all-new tale of sibling adventure. It stars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland (aka Star-Lord and Spider-man), so you know it’ll be good.
Onward hits theaters March 6, 2020.
Mulan
Disney’s next live-action remake is the tale of everyone’s favorite warrior princess. But this one is going to be a lot different than the original — no songs, no Mushu. Still, we’re excited to see this biopic take on one of our favorite characters! (Just don’t mind us if we’re quietly humming “Let’s get down to business” in the back row…)
Mulan debuts on March 27, 2020.
Black Widow
We’ve been itching for a new Marvel film and cannot wait to learn more about Natasha Romanoff!
Black Widow will swing into theaters on May 1, 2020.
Artemis Fowl
Fans of the popular sci-fi series have been hoping for a film adaptation since Disney first started developing it in 2016. It was supposed to be released in 2019 but was pushed back to 2020.
Artemis Fowl will soar into theaters on May 29, 2020.
Soul
It looks like Pixar is bringing us another thinker next year. You know — like Coco or Inside Out where you don’t really get it until you see it. But the trailer is beautiful and made me LOL so, safe to say, I’ll be seeing it.
Soul dances into theaters on June 19, 2020.
Jungle Cruise
The way I see it, this can go one of two ways: Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion. But with Dwayne the Rock Johnson and Emily Blunt at the helm, we’re hoping it’s Pirates.
Jungle Cruise sails into theaters on July 24, 2020.
Eternals
Eternals will bring BRAND NEW heroes to the Marvel screen. It features a star-studded cast including Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, and Kumail Nanjiani,
Eternals hits theaters on November 6, 2020.
Raya and the Last Dragon
A new original story from Disney Animation Studios, Raya is about a lone warrior who teams up with a gang of misfits in search of the last dragon. We don’t know much, but we know we’re excited!
Raya and the Last Dragon roars into theaters on November 23, 2020.
