Marvel treated fans to an early Christmas present late last night! The first trailer and poster dropped for the highly anticipated Black Widow film to fans’ delight.

This is the first film featuring the character, though fans have gotten to know her through her appearances in all of the Avengers films and several other Marvel films.

The trailer gives us a peek into Natasha’s family for the first time.

The film stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena, David Harbour as Alexei aka The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz as Melina. The film is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige.

Black Widow will serve as the first film in Marvel’s Phase Four and hits U.S. theaters on May 1, 2020.
