As fall inches closer, Disney has just released a new poster for one of this autumn’s most-awaited film sequels — Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
The new movie, which will hit theaters on October 18, reunites stars Angelina Jolie, as Maleficent, and Elle Fanning, as the young Aurora (AKA Sleeping Beauty).
The film continues the familiar story of Sleeping Beauty told with more insight into the difficult relationship between Aurora and her “fairy godmother.” In this sequel, Aurora and Maleficent start out at odds, but soon learn that they must overlook their conflicting views to protect each other, their home, and their loved ones.
In addition to Jolie and Fanning reprising their roles, the new movie introduces actress Michelle Pfeiffer as Queen Ingrith.
In case you missed it, here’s the most recent trailer for the film, out October 18.
