Step Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with This New Photo!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland in just a few days! And as we have said repeatedly our excitement to explore the planet of Batuu is building!

The other day, Disneyland’s President Josh D’Amaro shared a photo on Instagram that literally gave us chills!

His photo is filled with a sea of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge “inhabitants” AKA Cast Members!

Not only are we FREAKING out over the massive number of Cast Members at what Josh D’Amaro described as a cast rally, but we’re also having a bit of a moment because this is an official look beyond the walls, into Galaxy’s Edge.

In the picture, you can see Cast Members rocking their new costumes, which you can see in more detail here! If you look in the background, you will see the famous Millennium Falcon, for the attraction Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, which be the only attraction operating on opening day. If you look even further you might notice a delivery shuttle sitting on top of one of the land’s dining locations, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo!

We can’t believe how similar the land looks to the concept art they’ve been showing us the past year. Disney, two snaps for you, because from what we can see, this land looks PHENOMENAL.

We also can’t believe that the time is dwindling down so quickly. We really get to go to Galaxy’s Edge — at least in Disneyland — NEXT WEEK!

Are you going to make your way to Disney World or Disneyland this year to experience the new land? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. It looks like the area is so small that it will fill up quickly and be on a “boarding list” for a long time.
