Super Heroes! Suit up, because we have some exciting news straight from Disney!

Disney has revealed more details on its previously announced new immersive and interactive experience coming to Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney Studios in Disneyland Paris. Both parks will feature a new Marvel-themed attraction for guests of all ages.
Walt Disney Imagineering’s Global Marvel Portfolio is working with its partners across Studios and Entertainment to expand the story universe, so that you can join your favorite Super Heroes in action in a creative new way.

The Worldwide Engineering Brigade (known as WEB for short) is a new organization that will set the stage for this new experience. The concept is that WEB, founded by Iron Man’s Tony Stark, will develop enhancements in super-powered technology by bringing together the world’s brightest young inventors. Although WEB is based on classic characters like Spider-Man’s Peter Parker (whose suit redesign is WEB’s first project), everyone will be able to join and participate.
In addition to WEB, Imagineer Scot Drake says that new technology and practical effects will debut at the attraction that will allow guests to experience what it is like to have Super Hero super powers!

Until the launch of these new lands, you can catch Spider-Man in his newly designed suit in Walt Disney Studios in Paris. He’ll soon be swinging through Disney California Adventure — and you’ll see him at other locations in the future.
Ryan Meinerding, Head of Visual Development at Marvel Studios, notes that even though he’s designed all of Spider-Man’s suits for the most recent Marvel films, working on this new suit was next-level. He adds, “Knowing that park guests can get up close to that suit and really take in all the detail the astounding Imagineers packed into it means that we have truly brought a new version of the character to life.”
