This week, Lisa, Scott and I will be taking a closer look at some of the sculptures found around the Walt Disney World property. There’s no shortage of material, that’s for sure. Disney World is loaded with beautiful sculptures, made of everything from wood to plaster to metal. There are even plastic sculptures to be found.
My choice for Pic of the Week can be found in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Behind Flame Tree Barbeque, in the seating area, is a beautiful garden filled with many sculptures. If you’ve never taken the time to wander around that area, please be sure to spend some time there on your next visit. It’s really quite lovely. These giant bullfrogs are at the base of one of the lanterns near the reflecting pool.
