The parking situation at Disney Springs just changed, and we want to make sure you aren’t caught by surprise! Starting today, January 12th, the Lime Garage at Disney Springs is closed for refurbishment. Not just one floor or one section, the entire parking garage. It will be closed for a decent amount of time, too.
Lime Garage will be closed from January 12th until March 13th, with a short window when it will be open for President’s Day Weekend. So, it will be closed from January 12th until February 11th. It will reopen briefly from February 12th through February 16th. Then, it will be closed again from February 17th through March 13th. It is currently expected to reopen on March 14th.
That means if you are heading to Disney Springs and Lime Garage is usually your parking lot of choice, you will need to switch things up! During the closure, there will still be plenty of parking options, but if you are heading during a busy time, you may want to leave extra time for parking. You might also consider using Disney transportation if you are staying at a Disney World hotel or a ride-sharing service like Lyft or Uber.
If you do decide to park at Disney Springs, the following lots and garages will still be open: Orange Garage, Grapefruit Garage, Strawberry Parking Lot, or Watermelon Parking Lot.
The Orange Garage is closest to the West Side of Disney Springs. The Grapefruit Garage is located behind Lime Garage, but you will need to use a walkway over the road to get from the garage to Disney Springs.
The Watermelon Parking Lot is right next to Cirque du Soleil. It is at the end of the West Side of Disney Springs, over by House of Blues and City Works. There is also the Strawberry Parking Lot, next to Watermelon and between Disney Springs and Saratoga Springs.
