Seven Special Ways to Treat Your Mom for Mother’s Day at Disney World

So you’re going to be at Walt Disney World for Mother’s Day? Lucky you! And lucky Mom! A trip to Disney is special no matter what, but if you’re going to be there for Mother’s Day, why not do a little something extra for the woman who raised you, fed you, and gave you life?!

Here are seven SUPER ways to treat your mom on Mother’s Day in Disney World.

1. Let Her Choose a Meal

Chances are, when your mom books the dining reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation, she thinks of everyone but herself. She makes sure the kids get to dine with their favorite characters, and that all the menus appeal to everyone in the family.

For Mother’s Day, treat your mom to a special meal that SHE is really excited about. We recommend brunch at Wine Bar George, where she can enjoy a Dole Whip Mimosa with her meal. No matter what her tastes, make sure your mom gets to choose what she eats on Mother’s Day!

2.  Something Spa-cial

Did you know that three resorts on Disney property have full spas? You can make an appointment for your mom to get a facial, massage, manicure and more at the Senses Spas located at the Grand Floridian or Saratoga Springs, or the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin.

Book your mom an appointment to get pampered — let her slow down and relax for an hour or two! You know she deserves it, BIG time.

3. Explore the World

If you have a Disney-lovin’ mom (and if you’re reading this, chances are you do!) why not treat her to a fun new experience at her favorite place (we are assuming this is Walt Disney World, of course).

My mom loves gardening so last year, I gifted her the Behind the Seeds Tour at Epcot and she LOVED it!

Does your mom love animals? Check out the Wild Africa Trek in Animal Kingdom.

Just a huge Disney fan? How about Keys to the Kingdom at Magic Kingdom?

There are tons of tours you can book that may fit your mom’s unique interests.  It’s a great way to do something special on your vacation — plus you can do it together, which you know your mom will love!

4. Kick Up Your Ride

Start (and end) your vacation in the lap of luxury by renting a LIMO to pick you up and return you to the airport! This is a fun, relatively simple way to surprise your mom and kick off your stay.

We recommend our friends over at Happy Limo. They have excellent service, lovely cars, and great rates. Make sure to tell them your friends at AllEars.net sent you for a discount.

5. Send Her Flowers

Disney has a huge department that specializes in in-room celebrations. You can have flowers, cakes, and other fun magical surprises delivered right to your resort room! There are even completely customizable baskets. Make sure to reach out prior to your trip, as some of these gifts require advance notice. You can check out all the options on the Official Disney Floral and Gifts Website.

6. Go See the Hall of Presidents

Or Impressions de France. Or go on the Liberty Belle Riverboat. Or whatever attraction she really wants to go on but you deem “boring.” While your mom most likely loves riding your favorites with you, chances are she’s got a favorite she wants to check out too! Maybe it’s something a little slower, or something she fondly remembers riding in her childhood. Either way, make sure you ask on Mother’s Day if there’s anything special she wants to do, too!

7. Let Her Sleep In

If your mom is like mine, she is GO GO GOING all the time. Even though a Walt Disney World vacation isn’t exactly “relaxing”, take one day (how about Mother’s Day) and slow it down. Let your mom sleep in, bring her a cup of coffee, and relax by the pool. She probably won’t even know what to do with herself and all that time!
