First Look: Brunch at Wine Bar George at Disney Springs

Wine Bar George in Disney Springs, one of the newest spots to dine at around Walt Disney World, offers an impressive wine list in addition to light bites. Less than a year old, it is already ending up on quite a few of our team members’ “best” lists.

This past weekend, the wine bar began offering a special Wine Country Brunch, so we went to check it out.

Early morning cocktails were chosen to get the meal started.

Dole Whip Mimosa

We were most excited to try the Dole Whip Mimosa, which features moscato, Dole pineapple and prosecco. It was slushy and sweet and Dole Whip fans (of age) will love it!

Freaujolais

Also, take a look at the Freaujolais. This is a red wine frozen cocktail featuring beaujolais, vodka, raspberry. Yum!

Now for the food! As a starter, the Kendall Brook Smoked Salmon was very fresh and tasty.

For entrees, here are two savory options. The first is Steak and Egg Frites.

This hearty plateful comes with skirt steak, eggs, and sriracha hollandaise piled onto a large helping of fries.

Also, take a look at the Burrata.

This unique brunch dish comes with burrata cheese, tomatoes, greens, candied bacon, and avocado piled onto toasted ciabatta bread. Very fresh and delicious — we highly recommend it!

Lastly, for those with a sweet tooth, here is the French Toast.

This French Toast comes with a generous helping of mascarpone and caramel sauce, and is perfectly done!

Lastly, we nibbled on the signature Rose cookie, which actually has Rose wine in the buttercream.

  1. Wine Bar George Brunch is one of the best meals at Disney Springs. I had the steak frites and my friends got the burrata and we split – both were amazing!! That steak was so tender and tasty that when I think of it even now, I drool! lol. The Dole whips are the perfect adult treat. I got the lime with friezling and my friend got the pineapple mimosa and we were in heaven. Definitely hit up WBG for an excellent brunch. You won’t regret it.
