More Disney After Hours Dates Added for Magic Kingdom!


Disney After Hours, a special ticketed event that extends your in-park time at the Magic Kingdom beyond normal operating hours, has added a number of new dates between December 3, 2018 and March 7, 2019.

Guests can enter the Magic Kingdom for this event as early as 7 p.m. so they can experience the evening fireworks before hitting more than 25 attractions and experiences with little to no wait.

Your ticket for the event also includes unlimited free ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages (soda and water). Main Street Bakery is open, as well as other select locations.


The new dates and times for Disney After Hours are:

12/3: 10 p.m. — 1 a.m.
12/10: 10 p.m. — 1 a.m.
1/7: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
1/17: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
1/24: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
1/28: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
2/7: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
2/28: 8 p.m. — 11 p.m.
2/14: 9 p.m. — 12 a.m.
3/7: 9 p.m. — 12 a.m.

NOTE: Disney After Hours does NOT replace Extra Magic Hours, which are held on different evenings.

Advance purchase price per person (child or adult) is $125 plus tax, which is an increase of $6 over this past summer’s event. The day-of price is $129 plus tax, an increase of $5. In the past, there have been discounts for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Passholders, too, so be sure to ask about discounts when you book. If this does not also require a daily park admission ticket like the Halloween/Christmas parties and the number of tickets sold are limited, this looks like it might a be a wise way to explore the Magic Kingdom at night without major crowds. Although, some of those dates are when the parks are the least crowded during the year.
