The Magic Kingdom is full of details and I had fun looking for and photographing on a recent trip. Let’s start with the Pirates Bazaar which is the shop you enter after sailing through Pirates of the Caribbean. This shop, like all Disney shops, is a treasure trove of subjects. As I was walking around, … Continue reading "Recording Details in the Magic Kingdom"

Today I’ll continue where I left off. I have never written an article about the Pirates … Continue reading "Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland – Part Three of Three"
Restroom Evolution

Play Testing A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas at Walt Disney World
Posted onContributing photographer Jason of disneygeek.com had a great opportunity my last morning at Walt Disney World. The Imagineers were conducting a public "play test" of A Pirate's Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas. The testing started earlier in the morning and I managed to make it there about 11:45am and was one of the last groups through, they shut down around noon. The adventure begins at the Enlistment Quarters, the old Crows Nest.
Pirates of the Caribbean Pinball
Posted onIt lurks in the well-lit shadows of the Tomorrowland Arcade, awaiting players brave enough to tempt fate with a few schillings and fast-action thumbs. Don’t be chicken. Commandeer the pinball machine and beat the high score. However, if gold isn’t what you’re after but rather some “Tada!” worthy photographs, look no further. Here she sits. … Continue reading "Pirates of the Caribbean Pinball"
