New Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure

Disney California Adventure gets a holiday makeover this year with the presentation of the first Festival of Holidays at the park. The Festival celebrates holiday traditions around the world with food, beverages, and entertainment. Princess Elena of Avalor makes her Disneyland debut in Princess Elena's Musical Grand Arrival. The popular Viva Navidad street party also returns to Paradise Pier along with special food offerings and a character meet and greet.

The Disneyland Paris Half Marathon Weekend had the added benefit that it gave us the excuse to visit Disneyland Paris for the first time. (Now Shanghai is the only Disney park we haven’t visited.) Halloween Time 2016 – Trick or Tea and This and That

A new Halloween Time event this year is Trick or Tea at the Disneyland Hotel. It's a seasonal version of the existing afternoon tea served at Steakhouse 55. It's available on Friday-Sunday from September 30-October 30. Service is from noon until 3:00 p.m. I went on the first day - September 30. Steakhouse 55 is a very nice, quiet restaurant, and very appropriate for a relaxing afternoon tea.
