Disney Pic of the Week – Jungle Cruise

I love the Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World and I looooove the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. Why the difference in my level of affection? In my personal and vast experience, west coast skippers are funnier for the entire ride whereas east coast skippers either excel or fail inside the cave. And no, … Continue reading "Disney Pic of the Week – Jungle Cruise"

This Way to Fantasmic

Disney’s Hollywood Studios (aka MGM Studios) has a large (get it?) assortment of billboards staggered throughout the park. I don’t think that it’s necessarily very Hollywood since signage on Sunset Blvd and Hollywood Blvd (in Hollywood) consists of moving imagery, flashing lights, and entire sides of buildings. Honestly, they’re extremely distracting for drivers. So, as … Continue reading "This Way to Fantasmic"

Disney Pic of the Week: Billboards of Hollywood Studios

Hollywood back in the 1930’s and 1940’s was like a fantasy to most of America. A place not quite real. The billboards you see around the Studios help to tell the story … Continue reading "Disney Pic of the Week: Billboards of Hollywood Studios"
