Location is nice being high up with view and all, but food was average - didn't really feel it was worth extra dining plan points - wouldn't go back again on dining plan or as a paying customer - have been to a lot of fine dining restaurants & this one is simply over-rated - have ate at many other restaurant on Disney property that are better than this

I use to be a huge fan of the similar production at the castle, at which time included the Fairy Godmother so I was eager and anxious to visit 1900 Park Fare. My experience fell well short of my expectations. We had prepared, we all had crowns and sashes my daughter was dressed as Cinderella and yet we were clearly a place to stop and take photos for these characters, they had very little personality! My favorites were the step sisters, yet they were very sweet rather then playing their role! We simply will not retrun! No complaints on the food, good buffet however much more ambitious cast members in other locations.

One of Disney's better buffets - would recommend eating here, but only if on dining plan - not worth the price your would pay if not on dining plan - go around 4:00 or so for dinner to avoid large crowds

We have stayed at this resort several times and never tried Boma. Typically it was choosy eaters in our group that led us the decision to abort our reservations however this time I drug everyone in and everyone had an awesome time. The choices include African flair and other options as well. The fruit section and hummus were excellent, my daughter was thrilled with the mac n cheese. All of us loved the corn pudding and sweet potatoes. This is a Must-Do going forward even when we are not at the lodge!

Have ate here on a few occasions - Food was good, as was entertainment. They were accommodating in substituting a few food allergy items and both times the wait time to dine was relatively fast. Enjoyable with or without taking children - highly recommend (one tip - ask not to be seated right in the middle of the restaurant or will you be smack in the middle of the entertainment festivities~ which can be somewhat suffocating & slow down your table service.
Pros:
entertaining - good foodCons:

This was my second time at tea, and I still love it, and find great value in it. I did not give it an excellent because I still think there is some confusion that comes along with the tea if your server doesn't work to sort and make things clear. We opted for three different tea menus, and we did not understand that one had two courses, one three and the other four, so when my friend received her second course we sat and sat until the server asked why she wasn't eating then explained she was the only one with that course, which was fine I wish he would have better explained. Also, make sure to ask about the sandwich selections and substitute where you find necessary.

Different and a nice midday paceCons:

The Magic Kingdom offers a lot of dining options I like, I would choose the Columbia Harbor House because it tends to be less crowded especially upstairs and I truly enjoy the tuna sandwich and apple crisp.
Pros:
Less Crowded, different choicesCons:

When people with children ask where to eat in EPCOT I always suggest the Biergarten and I get a very quizical look, the truth is this is a great place for children, it is loud, and they have room to run and dance while you enjoy the great buffet. Two notes: when booking look up the entertainment schedule first then choose your seating, if performance is 1:15 I would book 12:55, you are not always seated right away so this gives you a cushion for seating and getting your first buffet pass, we typically sit through 2-3 performances. Also, the two sides of the buffet have had different offerings in my experience.

We stayed at POR from 10/12 - 10/19 this was my daughter's (7 yrs old) first trip to Disney to celebrate her birthday. The travel agent we used recommended the POR with a princess themed room called a "royal room." The magical express (neither magical nor express) arrived at our resort and we proceeded to check in at the lobby which is beautiful I might add. The welcome to Disney was so/so and not very enthusiastic. Our room was located in a building that was a long walk from the main building; it was on the third floor with an elevator that you had to walk another 2 minutes to the back of the building and another 2 minutes back to the front to reach your door. This made for a very exhausting walk after long days at the theme parks. To get to the bus stops it took about 15 minutes of walking, 20 -30 minutes for a bus to come and another 20 minutes to actually get to the parks. I went to the lobby and asked to speak with a cast member to change our room location closer to the main building and they would not oblige. The room itself was beautiful. From the furniture down to the princess themed shower it was really a beautiful and comfortable room. This type of room is something you would expect at a deluxe resort although it wasn't very big but was fine size for 3 people.
The quick serve restaurants are absolutely gross. They are overcrowded and the food was nasty. It would be cold by the time you got to sit down; if you got to sit down. If I had to describe POR in one word, the best fitting would be "overcrowded." This place is oversized and flooded with people. The outside entry to rooms makes its very motel 6 feeling. The pools are ok. I would NOT stay here again. We booked a trip for fall 2013 and we are staying at the Polynesian. I am hoping for a better experience transportation, food, room, location wise. We will see what happens.
My tips for POR
If you are like me and like to stay at the parks for long periods of time, I recommend a hotel closer to the parks that aren't so crowded this way you won't be waiting in long bus lines and you won't have to deal with long walks back to your room.
Pros:
The royal rooms are princess perfect 😉Cons:
transportation to the parks is awfulReviewed by wendybarrie Review Date: 05/23/2013

I am very pleased to write a review for this restaurant. Not only did we see Handy Manny, Agent OSO, Jake and June at our table but there were multiple opportunities for dance parties during our stay. We did strive to enhance our interactions by bringing pirate patches, rockets, a tool kit etc. but the dancing in addition to the photo op is fabulous. My daughter was VERY pleased that June was there from the Einsteins, judging on the signage I would have to assume she will be replaced by Dr McStuffins or Sofia in the near future. As a side note, I didn't pay to much attention to the food, I remember I ate lunch and had no complaints
