We are DVC owners with the Wilderness Lodge Villas being our home resort. So we have eaten many times at Roaring Forks. I always find their food to be very good and more that enough. The homemade chips are great. Our grnadaughter and grandson love to have the Bounty breakfast. The only negative when we were there in October they no longer had the tuna sandwich.
Pros:
Great food, reasonable price for WDWCons:

A must see. I saw this show in the 70's when it was located in Frontierland. I told my family they were in for a treat and they loved it. They said it was one of the best part of the vacation. The only negative part is getting there. We weren't sure if it was located at the resort, campground or campsites. You have to take a bus to the transportation center at Magic Kingdom and we were going to take another bus but a cast member told us to take the boat it's much faster. Part of our party to the bus and once there had to take another bus. It's worth the money, don't miss it and make sure to make reservations.

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday (22years) being a fan of Mary Poppins. The food was not good to say the least. The scrambled eggs were cold and watery. There wasn't much to choose from considering it was a buffet. The wait was long if you wanted specialty eggs (omelets etc.). I asked the host if they could sing Happy Birthday and they did with a little cupcake. For the price we paid I think the food should have been better. I expected more considering it was at the Grand Floridian. Mary Poppins and her friends were great.

This is a good place to go (if you can get in)if your tired of the nuggets, pizza, burgers and fries. It looks like it used to be an ice cream parlor. The food was good but not much of a variety. We didn't have reservations but were able to get in with a 20 minute wait. It seats about 60-100 people. Even the mayor of Main street dropped in.

Dined here for dinner the week before Christmas. Decor was excellent, service was excellent, but the food was a bit disappointing. Perhaps because of all the positive reviews we saw, I expected better. I had the fried chicken which I found to be a bit bland but okay. DW had the pork loin which she didn't care for. DD15 & DD19 (vegetarian) had the spaghetti and "meatballs" which they thought was okay but nothing special.
The desserts were overly sweet (Brownie sundae & Boston Cream parfait); DW liked the sugar free cheesecake.
Overall we enjoyed the experience, but be prepared for average DW food.

Dined at the Kona Cafe on 12/19 for dinner on the dining plan. The bread was out of this world, DD15 asked for more, which our server was happy to bring and she just about ate the whole loaf by herself! DW ordered the Kona Coffee rubbed pork chop, which she said was the best pork chop she ever had.
I had the Teriyaki NY Stip which was cooked to perfection; DD 15 had the pan Asian noodles and DD19 had the spiced Ahi Tuna, which they both loved.
Dessert was excellent as well; the banana creme brulee was fantastic and the chocolate fruit fondue was great.

My party of 6 stayed in a 2bd dedicated villa 12/9- 12/14 on the 10th floor w/ a Bay Lake view. We had very prompt bell service and the check-in was easy and pain free. We got a text later that day when our room was available.
We had so much space! My sons had the 2nd bedroom and their own bathroom. My daughter slept in the living room and had the hall bathroom for her own use. Hubby and me had the huge master bedroom and master bath. I also really enjoyed the balcony and watched the water parade go by a couple of evenings.
The kitchen was well stocked and we did a little bit of cooking/ food prep. Mostly we go out to eat on vacation. The decor was crisp and modern to go with the theme of the Contemporary. It was cool and we didn't make use of the pool.
Beyond the space, the location is the big plus here. I loved being on the monorail! Getting to Magic Kingdom and Epcot is a breeze. We did drive to Hollywood Studios and to Downtown Disney.
One day the monorail was down and that was a real inconvenience. We ended up walking to MK that evening to the Christmas Party.
The doors to the walkway literally never would read our keycard. And other folks were having the same issue. And the Contempo Cafe, while having some nice meals, got old real fast! We had an impolite girl working the register the first day we went which didn't help either.
The rest of the staff we encountered was great!
One last thing to keep in mind. We stay in hotels quite a bit and are used to having the beds made and the place cleaned everyday. If you stay on points like we did you don't get the beds made! On the 4th day we got more towels and trash taken. Before Bay Lake Tower was built I never was interested in DVC because the other resorts are so far from the parks. The location makes it worth considering. Highly recommend this resort!

We have stayed many times at the Contemporary but never at concierge level. This past Xmas week was a first for us. We traveled with our whole family..total of 5. We had stayed on the atrium level. It was nice to have the extra lounge area to spread out when having the whole family with us. Breakfast was good. Mid -day snacks not impressive. Desserts at night were good. We always stay tower and MK view so the view from the lounge was nice, but we usually prefer our balcony. The staff was very helpful to have so we knew if MK was at capacity or not as Xmas week is very busy. Overall, this time it made sense to stay concierge level due to total number of people and time of year that we were visiting. However, not sure it was really worth the extra money if these were not factors.
Pros:

All I can say is this is Disney magic at its best. It looks like you just stepped into the movie. We ate in the ballroom and I was afraid of the noise level, but it was not a problem. Our table was mesmerized by the snow falling and not missing the entrance of the Beast. The food was very good also. We were a party of five and we all had different entrees. Our server Shelly was very informative about imagineering concepts and hidden mickeys. We loved meeting the beast after dinner also. We so loved the atmosphere that we didn't want to leave and we lingered over coffee as long as possible. We were encouraged to visit the other rooms and take pictures. A lovely experience that will now become a must for every visit.
