We actually walked in, well tried to walk in at one point and had to leave because the line was out the door. Came back and it was still pretty long but at that point espresso was needed. Coffee was great when we got it.

We ate here on Easter morning, April 20th. We had reservations for 8:00 am. Seated right away. Belle was beautiful and great in character as always, loved getting 2 pictures because we were a party of 6 so my daughter was able to get a solo picture with her favorite princess. Buffet was good had a good amount of choices, hot food came out right away. The potato casserole was very good. We got refills on hot food with no trouble when asking. The princesses Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White, all came around quickly they did a princess processional during breakfast which was very cute. Cinderella did amazing in character even asked my 10 year old if she could introduce him to her step sisters 🙂 We however have done this once and it wasn't bad but its one we can put in our history books and try something else next time.

There are no words to explain how great this meal was. We ate here on April 19, we were seated right away with reservations. We got a table by the window perfect view. We had an amazing server, never waited for anything. The food was outstanding and kept coming all night. We were seated away from the activities a little but that was okay we didn't have to worry about the crowding. Finished off the dinner with wishes down on the beach. If you have never ate here, plan it your next visit.

We ate here for the first time on our visit and had breakfast. My daughter and I both had the tonga toast and my son had the kids oatmeal. Everything was so delicious we will definitely add this to our itinerary next trip.

I don't know if its because I'm an easy to please person but, we had no complaints on our second visit. Did online checkin before trip, got to resort and after 6 minutes we got the text our room was ready and it was 8:30 am. No complaints on room, the pool was down a few times compared to the last trip not sure what happened those times, kids loved pool activities, food court always stocked well easy in and out. We will never go again without the luxury of a preferred room, it was so nice after long park days to just walk right from lobby to room basically. Buses were all quick, all around perfect stay!!

Port Orleans Riverside is a nice place to stay. There were a few negatives about our stay. We paid for a garden view room and were place on the side wall looking at shrubs and the ac unit while the front of our building was being refurbished, I assumed a garden view meant at least a few flowering plants. Our room had a huge paint scuff on the wall that we notified the front desk about, but they did not offer to change our room. Housekeeping was slow, essentials such as shampoo and laundry bags were not replenished. The weather was great so we did not spend much time at the resort. My kids said they preferred the pool at Caribbean Beach. Having a small child I found that Caribbean's splash area was ten times better that POR. We did finally eat in the dining area our last night, we did not have dining plan this trip so there was not a daily need to visit the dining hall to refill glasses. My husband and I shared the make it yourself pasta and it was fantastic. It is such a great bargain for Disney property and the flavor was excellent. One last suggestion is if you stay at the property you must make your way over to the French Quarter for Begninets. We would stay here again but would not waste the extra dollars on the Garden View.

Because we went on 'Star Wars Day' 5/4 (May the 4th be with you) it was very hard to get a reservation. We tried on the day that ADR's opened with no luck and then tried for weeks online and on the telephone at least 20x per day with no luck. On 5/3 we called from our resort room and got a 9:45am reservation on 5/4! Wait was 10 minutes past ADR. Food was great, but steak was TINY. May not do it again, but we are very happy that we got in. Price was high for breakfast but we have no regrets. We were shocked to see that the photographer for Allears was seated right behind us as I am the guy in the red shirt that can be seen in one of the photos at the top of this page!

I really like the different rooms. There's so many of them that you don't usually have to sit near anyone. Plus they each have their on themes. I love all the dino-themed music as well.
It's the same burger that you get in most parks, but it tastes better for some reason. Perhaps its because I went right when it opened and it was superfresh.

This was my first time staying at one of the moderate Disney resorts. I have stayed several times in the deluxe resorts. I thought the hotel was very nice and room was a pretty good size. I was traveling with three teenage girls who were performing with their class in Downtown Disney. The Hotel is very large and we were in Martinique section which was pretty close to food court and busing.
My only real complain is the food court. I thought it was over priced and the food was only ok. I hated how everything was a la carte. You think you are buying a couple of muffins and a couple bottles of water and you wouldn't be spending that much. Breakfast always seemed to be about $25.00 for two people with very little food bought. I would love to see it set up as a buffet and pay one price. I also don't like the set up of the food court. It doesn't have a good logistical design. People are trying to buy pastries on 1 line and the cashier line converges with it. They will not give you to go containers when you get the food. You have to go to a separate station and it just makes it confusing. Unfortunately, trying to manage food (without box) and water bottles I dropped it all over me. Food Court staff less than friendly.
