We went for lunch and while the desserts were good, the main meals were not. Sandwiches were premade and were not of the quality we expected. Chicken was bland. Portions sizes were huge.
Pros:
Some variety, desserts are goodCons:

We ate a on very hot sunny day. We loved the food. Generous portions. Nicely done fish not greasy. You are given a number to take to your table and they serve you. However, very few seats indoors. Had to sit outside in the courtyard of the Hole in the Wall bar. Nice bar, but very expensive. Courtyard is hot with very little shade. We will definitely go again.
Pros:
great fish and chipsCons:

I recently returned from a 5-day stay in a studio room in the Turtle Pond section of the resort. I found this resort to be very beautiful. I like the pastel gingerbread-style look of the houses. I found the transportation within the complex to be very convenient. The complex is large and the walk to the hospitality house would be lengthy, but I was able to jump on any bus and the last stop before leaving the resort was the hospitality house. Since the first bus stop was a short walk, being able to utilize the Disney buses was a plus. The studio room was larger than the rooms at the deluxe resort, I liked having a kitchenette setup and used it daily. I have stayed at many of the Disney resorts and Old Key West is by far my favorite. The only downside is that the quick service area is too small with few offerings, but if that's the only shortcoming that's OK by me.
Pros:
Beautiful landscape, quiet, internal transportationCons:

We love to get the to go meal consisting of 10 piece of fried chicken, 2 sides, and corn bread. The chicken is delicious, and while the sides are good, the only choices are mashed potatoes, fries, and macaroni and cheese. I really wish they offered green beans, okra, or some other veggie. Our family of 5 can easily fill up on the meal, and for that price it's the best deal to be had at Disney! We are locals, so we just bring paper plates and water bottles, then head over to the campfire to enjoy smores with Chip and Dale.

The food was good nothing more. There is no real atmosphere there to tell you that you are anywhere of note, could be the corner restaurant in your own neighborhood. Will not revisit unless they do something to peek my interest.

Food was outstanding, I had Kevin's Heavenly ham, the portion was too much for me, My daughter had the Salmon and my niece the Sheperds Pie. Both said their meals were very good. Sat near the stage so the band was good and not as loud as one would think, the dancers were very entertaining. Will go back again.
Pros:
Excellent food, large portionsCons:

My spouse and I ate at Be Our Guest on Wednesday, October 1st and Monday, October 6th. Our Wednesday reservation was our first time. While waiting on the bridge I was a little concerned, what do the diners do if its raining. There are no areas of coverage on the bridge and the cast member guarding the entrance is tougher than the Beast could ever be (in a good and funny way). I really enjoyed being able to carry the Lumiere figurine to our table. I bet some of the cast members have a hard time getting it back from the kids. We were seated in the Ballroom where the Beast and Bell had their first dance. This room is simply beautiful. The effect of falling snow seen from the magnificent windows is breath taking. The Ballroom transports you right into the movie. We started our first meal with Champagne and French Onion soup. The French Onion Soup was a true delight, so rich in flavor, we instantly knew we were going to start our second seating on Monday with the soup again. Dinner was Grilled Strip Steak for him and Thyme-Scented Pork Rack Chop for me. The highlights of those dishes were the great cuts of meats on both plates, cooked to perfection. The AuGratin Macaroni out of this world. On, yeah, the gray stuff is delicious. The serving staff were on the top of their game. Our second seating on Monday, October 6th we were seated in the Rose Gallery. The room was dark with a feeling of despair, but leave it to Disney to make it still give you a feeling of romance. I now know how Belle could come to love a Beast. This place will put warmth in your heart and belly. Be Our Guest instantly was added to our list of the best restaurants in Walt Disney World. Loved, loved, loved it!
