My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend 8/2017 and were able to stay in a refurbished room. If you are looking for a modern touch, then the rooms are perfect. We enjoyed all the USB ports and the large bathroom mirror. The room was the perfect size for the 2 of us, I know our family of 4 (parents and 2 teens) would not be comfortable in here. The grounds were great for taking a walk in the morning, the bus service was punctual, front desk very personable and helpful.
Pros:
price, new roomsCons:
rooms fit only 2 comfortably but if this is what you need, then size is perfectReview of Disney's Boardwalk Inn Concierge Level

My son and I were upgraded to the Inn Keepers club. It was fantastic! The staff was wonderful, the lounge was a great treat. I cannot speak highly enough of Jackie, the chef, and everyone else.
Pros:
close to epcot and Disney studiosCons:

The SciFi Dine-in resturant is my sons favorite resturant. The menu is varied enough that we can all find something that appeals to each of us. Make sure to get a reservation with this one. Always people trying to get in as a walk up. The milk shakes are great.
Pros:
Cool and dark enough to refresh our spirits. Old black and white shorts are entertaining and funny.Cons:

I have stayed here in both regular rooms and in the family suites. These family suites were the first, before the ones in the Art of Animation and they are nearly as nice, but they are less expensive. We had 5 adults in there and it was a tight squeeze at night. When everyone opened their beds, one of us had to end up in the hallway for everyone to fit. However, there were 2 bathrooms, a microwave and a small fridge.
In all of the rooms, the one window looks out onto the walkway, so everyone has to pass by your window as they are coming and going. I want to warn everyone to CLOSE THE DARK CURTAINS if you are in the room at night with the lights on. My sister and I made a game of counting how many nude and semi-nude people we saw each night when returning to our rooms.
Be warned that if you don't pay extra for a preferred room, you can be walking a long way to the food and transportation.
My main complaint is the bus service. These resorts are way out in the direction of Animal Kingdom, so it takes longer than average to get anywhere anyway. But this resort shares buses with the other 2 All Star resorts. So the buses fill-up quickly, are almost always super crowded, and even though you are near the front of the line at the resort, you might get on the first bus that comes along. If you stay here, I would try to travel at non-popular times if it doesn't put too much of a crimp in your vacation.
Pros:
least expensive, family suiteCons:

This is marketed as a counter service restaurant. Yes, you do stand in line to order and you have to grab your own silverware, but they bring to food to you at your table. I think the quality of the food is really good for both breakfast and lunch. There are 3 dining rooms and they are all decorated nicely. The east room is the darkest room where there is a portrait if the Beast/Price and it would be fun to eat there - but most everybody else feels the same way and I've never been able to get a table there. However, you can go in a look around after you've finished your meal elsewhere. Large restrooms on the way out are also a bonus.
Pros:
good food, fun atmosphere, nearly table serviceCons:

Excellent breakfast option! The table starts off with a small skillet full of fabulous cinnamon rolls and a large bowl of mixed fruit. Coffee, tea and/or juice is also included. Then comes the main course - a large skillet full of scrambled eggs, sausage, Bacon, tater tot's and Mickey shaped waffles. For those with gluten allergies, you get your own skillet with gluten free waffles as well as a blueberry muffin. That food was delicious. And it's fun to have the characters come by your table and take pictures as you're having breakfast.
Pros:
Able to accommodate food allergies. Fun to rotate and to see characters in different costumes than anywhere else.Cons:

This restaurant has a really fun atmosphere. I ordered the cheese plate for my appetizer - it was delicious. I then chose the baked fish and chips for my entrée. I was concerned when The Fish came out looking a little under done, and sure enough, a quarter of the fish was not cooked through. I was disappointed when I told my waitress and she said she would tell the chef but she never even offered an apology. I also ordered the gluten-free dessert - a scone with berries and cream. I thought the scone was lacking in flavor. I don't think I would order it again.
Pros:
Great location to view the show from.Cons:

I went to the cay with my family. They are all water babies and they really loved it. Except for the childcare center, which was nowhere near as good as on the ship. I am not a water baby. I enjoyed my lunch and took a tour of the cay, but there wasn't much for me to do. I ended up going back to the ship early where I reaped the benefits of having so many people gone - lots of room for those who stayed on the ship. Next time I go, I think that I will go there for lunch (different variety of food than on the ship) and then return to the ship and enjoy it in its uncrowded version.
Pros:
good lunch, leaves more room on the shipCons:

The location of this restaurant is very unique. We sat in the outside area right by the water, where they show the \"reflections of earth\" performance each night at Disney's Epcot. I ordered the hummus and olives for my appetizer. It came with two flavors of hummus - plain and tomato - and a small amount of olives. Everything tasted great, but I really was expecting more olives considering they were part of the title of the appetizer. For my entrée I ordered the mixed grill. It came with two skewers of meat, Rice, and green beans. Both skewers of meat were overcooked. I had a very hard time getting them off the skewers. I only ate two pieces from each skewer.
