First off, I kind of like theme park food. Maybe it’s because I’m on vacation, don’t worry about eating healthy and it tastes good because it isn’t necessarily all that healthy! That being said, I’ll be as objective as possible here.
I had the Messy Melvin with onion rings. I loved the fresh ciabatta bun it came on. Very tasty. The vegetarian patty was too small for the bun and slightly dry but tasted fine. It was like a veggie patty from the frozen section of the grocery store. The tomato like chunky sauce (making it “messy”) was good and added a bit of flavor. I would have preferred more sauce. It wasn’t dressed to the point of being “messy” and I think it would have tasted better with more flavor if it was more dressed. I actually added mustard to get some flavor and take away from the dry patty. If it wasn’t for the bun, I wouldn’t have been impressed.
The 16 year old girl I was with liked her plain burger just fine. It was just a burger with no bells or whistles that she asked for.
I had the onion rings which I loved! They were hot and crispy. They were fully covered in crisp batter that did not fall off the ring when you took a bite. Tasty!
Her fries were regular theme park fries. Crispy, medium thickness and warm.
We also had the churro funnel cake here. This is what you definitely should go for if you like this type sweet. Wow. It was a funnel cake with cinnamon sugar to resemble a churro, then drizzled with caramel sauce that was warm and topped with whipped topping in the shape of a Mickey head. So delicious. Three of us ate off it. The outside where the whipped cream didn’t start to melt was crispy funnel cake goodness. The middle got a little softer but it was just a different texture of delicious! It was worth the $9.
The restaurant and area has ample seating, both drinks downstairs and up. We had no problem finding a table at two separate peak times. They have packets of ketchup, mustard and possibly mayo, but no topping should bar. Mobile order was available and was fast.

Another of my favorite rides. Very realistic hang-glider type view through different places and environments. I'd ride this all day if I could.

One of the most beautiful restored steam trains still in operation. Sorry to hear this is coming to an end. This was always a great way to travel to different areas of the park too. The ride was at a perfect speed to catch a little breeze. Sometimes I would ride it completely around the loop just for enjoyment. Sorry to hear this is going bye-bye.

Three of us ate here our last day since we had no park tickets and it was one of the two places (other was Whitewater Snacks in the Grand Californian) that had Mickey waffles without being a character breakfast experience.
The eating area is very small but we were lucky to get a table since it was close to 9:45am and the crowds had probably moved on to the parks.
Still, service was slow even though there were only 4 other tables in the place with 2 waitstaff.
One of us ordered the adult Mickey waffle. The other 2 ordered off the kids menu because we wanted waffles but more substance too. We got 2 small Mickey waffles for $7 and the kids breakfast platter.
The waffles were a huge letdown. Highly overpriced for 2 small waffles with nothing else! $3.50 for 4 bites of a waffle. And we both agreed that these did not taste like the traditional Mickey waffle. They were darker and we wondered if they were the whole grain option that could be requested the last time we were at WDW. There was a sprinkling of powdered sugar on top, but these were so disappointing. I wish I had taken a picture of this huge white plate and the two sad Mickey waffles.
The breakfast platter had plenty of nicely scrambled eggs, cubes of hash browns with an unexpected spice to them. Might have been rosemary. As an adult, I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure it would appeal to all kids. There were 2 pieces of turkey bacon which were way too undercooked for me. I had asked for it crisp, but mine was exactly the same as my dining companion. Since the waitress was hard to grab, I microwaved it myself. There is a grab and go lounge connected to the small restaurant, with a microwave on the counter to heat your selections. I microwaved my bacon an extra minute and half to get it crispy.
The platter also came with fruit, which they didn’t bring. I had to ask for it and our waitress wasn’t even aware it was included. But, checking the menu, it was. The fruit cane in a very small cup. There was cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple chopped as small as a pencil eraser (not exaggerating) and a few grapes the size of walnuts. It wasn’t interesting. At least it was fresh.
All in all, the breakfast was Fine. It was a poor value, slow service and uneventful. Disappointing Mickey waffles and nothing else here that made it a sought after destination.

No frills or thrills here; but a great view of the park or people watch. The ride is smooth, soft and slow and combined with the covering makes for a nice breeze to relax. Personally I could ride this for hours (if they would let me) with a big smile on my face.

I think to many people try and compare the original vs movie and this ride. Take it for what it is. It's a great well themes ride (even the line area going in). The ride is pretty cool, and whatever side you fall toward I think you will enjoy it.
