| February 17th, 2023 - Tiana’s Palace Restaurant will replace this location | New Orleans Square : Disneyland Park | French Market This Disneyland restaurant closed permanently on February 17th, 2023, in order to make way for the NEW Tiana’s Palace restaurant. The new spot will feature food inspired by Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. |

During a spring performance of Fantasmic! in Disneyland, the Maleficent dragon (who is supposed to breathe fire during the show) caught on fire. After the incident, the show was suspended indefinitely and Disney released a statement that it would temporarily suspend fire effects at select shows GLOBALLY “out of an abundance of caution.” |
