2019 - Early 2023Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortMickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway (DLR) The first major Mickey-themed ride-through attraction, is coming to Disneyland’s Mickey’s Toontown in Early 2023 as part of the reimagination of Mickey’s Toontown. The ride will be housed in the El CapiTOON Theater, where Mickey and Minnie are premiering their newest short, Perfect Picnic.
March 14th, 2020 - July 25th, 2022Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortFinding Nemo Submarine Voyage Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage closed for refurbishment on March 14th, 2020. It will reopen on July 25th, 2022.
Oct. 4, 2021 - Nov. 10th, 2023Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortTarzan's Treehouse Tarzan's Treehouse will close for refurbishment beginning October 4th, 2021. Disney has revealed that the attraction is being rethemed to an adapted version of the original Swiss Family Treehouse concept that Walt and his Imagineers envisioned in 1962.
Mar. 9 - March 19, 2023Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortMickey’s Toontown Mickey’s Toontown will close on March 9th, 2022 to make way for a completely reimagined land featuring new attractions, activities, and entertainment. The new land is set to debut in early 2023 and will be a larger space for both “spontaneous family play and parental relaxation.”
Mar. 14 - Jun. 30Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortPirates of the Caribbean Pirates of the Caribbean will close in Disneyland Park on March 14th, 2022. Disney's website currently states that it will reopen on June 30th, 2022.
Apr. 21 - Jun. 3Disneyland Park : Disneyland ResortBlue Bayou Restaurant Blue Bayou Restaurant, which has a view of Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Park, will close for refurbishment on April 21st, 2022. Disney has not yet announced a reopening date.

During a spring performance of Fantasmic! in Disneyland, the Maleficent dragon (who is supposed to breathe fire during the show) caught on fire. After the incident, the show was suspended indefinitely and Disney released a statement that it would temporarily suspend fire effects at select shows GLOBALLY “out of an abundance of caution.”
