Mar. 20 - Opening 2020a bug's land : Disney California AdventureMarvel Super Heroes-Themed Land The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe. This new land, opening in 2020, will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by "a bug's land." "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19; the rest of the land will close September 5.

Special entertainment includes Mulan's New Year Procession which will also feature the Three Little Pigs in recognition of the Year of the Pig. During the 24-day celebration special foods, merchandise, and cultural performances will also be available.

According to Disney, this new show explores “universal themes of heroism, romance, and self-discovery” and is an “exhilarating and heartfelt experience for Super Hero fans, theater enthusiasts, and families alike.”
