Girl Scouts of Citrus Council have just one more week to register for Splash Bash at Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando’s water park.
On May 19 to 20, local Girls Scouts of all ages are invited to an exclusive overnight celebration at Aquatica. The fun begins at 10 p.m. and continues until 5:30 a.m. the next day.

Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will have access to popular Aquatica attractions, such as Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, Omaka Rocka, Walhalla Wave, Dolphin Plunge and Loggerhead Lane. Plus, the $35 ticket — which must be purchased in advance — includes beach volleyball, a beach DJ and dancing, a temporary tattoo station, hair braiding and wrapping, a swap station, a grab-and-go breakfast in the morning, and a one-of-a-kind fun patch.
Add-ons are available for meals, snacks and drinks. These must be purchased the same time as general tickets and cannot be added later. These discounted options will not be available the day-of the event. However, there will be other food and drink options available for purchase during the overnight.
Meal Voucher (includes a drink and entrée for $11.99): Choice of burger, wrap or salad, and one Coca-Cola product. Vegetarian options also are available.
Snack Voucher (includes one snack for $2.99): Selections such as cotton candy, pop-corn, fruit cup or cookie.
Souvenir drink cup with unlimited refills for $6: Includes Coca-Cola products and ICEEs.
Annual passes to Aquatica cannot be applied to this event.
All Girl Scouts must be accompanied by an adult (troop leader, parent or other adult chaperone). Troop leaders must abide by girl/ adult ratio rules. All adults, age 18 and older, attending this event must be Girl Scout members and approved adult volunteer, which includes a background check.
While this is a Girl Scout exclusive event, girl tagalongs are permitted. All children 3 years of age and older, must have a ticket. Children younger than 3 are allowed, free of charge, but they must be supervised by an adult at all times and they cannot be left alone or supervised by a Girl Scout. Males between the ages of 3 and 18 are not permitted.
Sleeping arrangements will include designated spots for families (including men), female-only troop leader and Girl Scout areas, and male-only areas for male troop leaders.
Aquatica will allow these items to be brought in:
** Sleeping bags
** Pop-up tents (space is limited however for these)
** Small coolers
** Swim suits, a change of clothes, pajamas, towels and googles
What you may not bring:
** No drugs, alcohol, or other prohibited items, such as fire arms, mace that may pose a threat to your safety or the safety of others
** No stake tents
** No glass bottles of any kind
** No large coolers
** No air mattress or cots
** No inflatable water toys or floats except safety floaties needed for young children.
The park will open at 10 p.m. for this overnight, but Girl Scouts can arrive as early as 8 p.m. to pick up tickets and get ready to enter the park. The only option to leave early will be at 2 a.m. Otherwise, once guests are in the park, they will not be able to depart again until 5:30am. Once visitors leave, they cannot come back in again.
Girl Scouts can cancel through April 19 and still receive a refund. To register, go to the Girl Scout website here.
