I Can Honestly Say This Will Be a GAME CHANGER for Disney Springs

Some HUGE changes are coming to Disney Springs, and we are excited. We recently learned that three new stores are heading to the shopping and dining district, but what we’re most excited about is Level99, which is taking over the old NBA Experience building.

So Level99 is a place for adults and teens to play while doing physical and mental challenges. We wanted to get a good feel for the experience, so we traveled all the way to Tysons, Virginia (near Washington, D.C.) to check out a Level99 location.

So after experiencing Level99 for ourselves, we are going to say it’s like walking into a massive playground for adults and teens. We’ll admit that the whole thing surprised us with the variety of games available and the fun themes of each room.

The rooms are so fun!

Oh, there are also lockers where you can store your things while you play. You’ll need these, TRUST US.

You’ll be given a wristband to access the games. You’ll tap this “Veloband” anywhere you see the Level99 logo to get started.

Using your wristband

Some games are more physical, so you’ll need to bring some strength and stamina (and no lie…those physical challenges can be CHALLENGING). Other games require brain power, like logic puzzles, so get your thinking cap on. There are three different categories of challenges, including challenge rooms, arena duels, and an art hunt.

Art Hunt

There really is something for everyone! We also loved how the experience encourages you to work with others, so it’s a great activity to do with the family.

What really surprised us is that if we failed a room (and we’re mostly talking about the room with the rope swing), we wanted to do it over again and again. That’s how fun it was. You don’t normally get to climb and swing around on things like this as an adult, and, that’s a REAL pity. Here, though? We were like kids on the monkey bars.

We kept returning to this room

Another cool feature is that if you visit other Level99 locations, your account follows you across them all, so if you leave one location and return to another, you can just pick up where you left off. How cool is that?

Another challenge

Level99 also features a bar with food and drinks, and again, we were surprised at how good everything was. It’s restaurant-quality food, and in a way, that reminded us of Splitsville. They have a real kitchen, and a lot of things are homemade. We started our tour with drinks and had some delicious cocktails (which are the most popular item).

And you can get food and drinks

This is going to be an incredible addition to Disney Springs because the area really needs something like this that isn’t just for kids. It’s a great place to have fun, regardless of how much time you have, although you could easily spend a whole day at Level99.

So to sum up, we’re even more excited about Level99 coming to Disney Springs. Expect it to open sometime this summer! We’ll be there checking it out, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
