Packing for Disney World is HARD — much easier said than done, and we say that from years of experience.

Sometimes, like many times in life, it’s best to listen to our elders, and packing for Disney World is no different. No, we mean it! We polled our team and asked them what their grandparents bring to Disney World, and needless to say, we learned a lot, and think you will too!
You’ve heard us talk about how important it is to have Fans in the parks, and while that it IS important, one of our team members’ grandparents doesn’t just bring one fan, but brings THREE!

This is to make sure she always has one charged, always has one in one each bag, so she’s never without one, and with this brand in particular, it’s also a portable charger AND a flashlight. So even if you have three of these in different bags, you can’t go wrong.
When it comes to packing clothes, if you’re someone who’s stressed about your clothes being wrinkled, we suggest packing the clothes that are SUPPOSED to look wrinkled!

By that, we mean skirts and dresses with ruffles, loose pants, and shirts that are flowy. This way, you’re not stressed about any potential wrinkles that form during travel.

In a similar vein, we also have many of our team’s grandmothers who dress comfortably for the parks, instead of worrying about looking stylish. For them, it’s comfort or bust, and we feel we could all learn something from that. One of our favorites is the XIEERDUO Women’s Workout Tops.

They’re cute, yet comfortable, and are made of material that is MADE for sweating and being active all day. They also come in a variety of colors that are all very affordable, so you can find the style that works for you without breaking the bank.
What better way to complete a comfortable outfit than with some cute leggings? The baleaf Women’s Capri Leggings are a big hit with our team.

These have pockets, which are great for the parks, and they’re a great mix between comfortable and cute. We own manyyyy pairs of them, and we’re not afraid to admit that!
If you’re concerned about dirty laundry going home, we also recommend using the laundry services at the hotel to wash your clothes before heading home, which also takes away an additional step once you ARE home! For that, you’re going to want to bring some Laundry Bags with you!

These are small and compatible, so they’re easy to fit in your suitcase, but they also make taking your laundry down to the laundry facilities much easier. The alternative is carrying down your whole suitcase, and well, no one wants that.
It’s a well-known fact that Orlando’s humidity is intense, especially during the summer months. One of our team members shared that their grandmother always suggested bringing double the amount of socks and undergarments you think you’ll need, solely because of how humid it is. Honestly? We can’t argue with that. Even if it takes up more space, not feeling gross is totally worth it.

For some of our grandmothers, lipstick, or a lip color of some kind, is very important. HOWEVER, it needs to avoid smudging, which is also essential. Personally, we recommend the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer.

These are natural colors that do a GREAT job of staying in place. We do, however, recommend following in our grandmothers’ footsteps, which is to eat a meal, and then reapply for maximum coverage all the time.
We’re here to help you plan for your upcoming Disney World trips in the best ways possible, so stay tuned to AllEars!
